How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I couldn't figure out what the sleep mode on the A/C unit did. It worked out as some decent white noise, but it probably ran all night when I really only needed it for a few hours.
Friendly staff that welcomed me in and helped me check out early in the morning. The appliances were basic, but sometimes all you need is a comfy bed and some Wi-Fi. And this hotel did just that for a quick one night stay.

The sheets were dingy and the pillows too flat. Other than that I had no complaints

Road construction nearby made getting in / out a bit dicey at certain times of day. Won’t last forever.

We've been here 3 times the last year. We like the parking by the door and cleanliness of the place. There's no free breakfast but for the price it's a great value. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Bed rest on a king size bed was uncomfortable as a result of bad bedsprings and no mattress pads. Also, commode needs repair maintenance regarding flushing. You have to hold the lever in order for it to completely flush.

Bathroom was so small I couldn't get my walker in. No facial tissue. Only 2 towels for 3 people.
Cleanliness. Easy in and out. Bed was low enough that I could sit on it. Mattress felt like I was sleeping on Jell-O.

Bedding and pillows were flimsy. Thermostat was hard to regulate.
All the rooms are on ground level. Very easy parking available. Good location.

My first room was at the back of the property and I got a bit scared. Not their fault all me. I went to the front desk and they gave me another room near the front. Exceptional staff!
Everything, and especially the staff. Great place to stay for the value.

We were gone a month frankly I don't know most of these answers however the one checkin lady I do remember who was rude . Well I probably won't say anything except for the motel where the a/ c didn't work and we left our door open all night .we didn't appreciate that .
Retired : We travel budget prices 70/ 80$ Motels .Clean , Its scary to book because a person doesn't know what they getting into . I don't like being charged a damage fee at check in. It only takes one revengeful person somewhere to ruin a month's trip..We get off road 5/ 6 p.m. eat sleep leave. Motel breakfast suits us fine as well. Thank you

To start off with it was freezing outside, and I had to check in through a window as a froze my butt off. The room was clean to a certain point. The bed was not the most comfortable, and I’m pretty sure that’s where my outbreak of ringworm came from.
The location was the only good thing about our stay

No wifi and they didn't seem interested in fixing it. No breakfast. Couldn't get towels early in the morning. This is the 4th time we've stayed here and very disappointed. Won't be back.
Place was outdated but clean.It would be OK if you want bare bones amenities and just staying the night Location was fine. It is quiet there.

The woman who checked me in acted like it was an inconvenience to wait on me. She did not smile once. The room key worked once and I had to go and get it reactivated. The room was filthy. It looked like it had not been vacuumed in a weeks. The bedspread had holes in it and was nasty. The bathtub had cigarette burns all over it and the carpet was frayed coming from up from the floor in several places. The room smelled like smoke. The chair in our room had holes in it. I will never stay at this hotel again and recommend that the owners remodel soon. I feel like there are a lot of people who live there on a full time basis. I did not feel safe there at all. If you can possibly afford elsewhere to stay....I would highly recommend that you do.
Water pressure in shower was good. The air conditioner worked. The man who checked me out was friendly.
