Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI was surprised and disappointed at the lack of cleanliness, especially in the hallways. It was as if they didn’t even own a vacuum. They had done renovations several years ago and it’s sad to see the difference between the bright shiny hallways then compared to the dingy, dirty carpet now. I hope they can turn it back around.
I’ve stayed here a number of times over the years and love the affordability along with the proximity to the Strip. I also appreciated the free shuttle to the airport.

KenyaThe amount shown on the booking site doesn't include resort fee and taxes and a security deposit, I had a tight budget this time so had to switch to a twin bed room as opposed to the 2 separate rooms booked. The site needs to show all fees for duration of stay. There were funny looking dudes hanging by the hotel entrance asking for money/smoke but hotel security quickly sent them away, this was my fourth stay at this hotel with 2 stays after the pandemic , this time it felt really insecure.
The staff were very accommodating- the kept our bags safe for us as we arrived hours before check-in and also after check out as we waited for our flight later that afternoon. They answered our questions adequately. The Hotel restaurant was open this time around I liked the steak they had on the menu, the day's special it was I think.

The property was OK I just didn't like the fact that someone stole my cell phone off the slot machines that really upsetting and the rooms were kind of high and the people did not clean the rooms like they should have
