With its own Victorian tearoom, Chapel Cross Guest House is situated in the historic village of Roslin and 9 miles south from the scenic capital city of Edinburgh. Free on-site parking is available. Rosslyn Chapel is just 300 metres away and was featured in the book and film versions of "The Da Vinci Code". Guided tours are available around the magnificent 15th-century building.

Edinburgh city centre offers a variety of historic landmarks such as the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. A choice of golf clubs can be reached in 10 minutes’ drive.

Beautiful, charming property with a large room and bonus sitting area. Local pub right across the street with good food. Location was away from the city in a lovely country setting. The host was very friendly and took time to chat with us, she made us feel very welcome.

There is a bus stop close to the property, which has regular services to Edinburgh city centre. The 15th-century Rosslyn chapel, which featured in the Da Vinci Code films, is just 5 miles away, whilst Musselburgh Racecourse is a 15-minute drive from the Laird And Dog.

First the location. It was conveniently located near downtown Edinburgh where I planned most of my sight-seeing. Second, the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Last, the food and bar were great!

    Surpassed all our expectations. Place was so lovely and cosy. Very clean and really comfy beds. We had everything we needed even down to the huge umbrellas! Great location as the bus stop was just down the road. Would definitely recommend!

    Perfect location as we were visiting Rosslyn chapel whilst away. Room was nice, quiet place, slept well. Breakfast was exceptional, one of the best fry ups I've ever had. Couldn't stay for day 2 breakfast so they made us a takeaway bag night before which was lovely and so kind!
