The pool was great to cool down and relax after touring in the heat. Our host Andrea was exceptionally helpful, informative and great to chat with every morning as we started our day. Every recommendation he made for us on places to visit, where to eat were 110% and we recommend Villa Angela as a great stay if you have a car and want to explore the Parma region and wider.

It was nice for jogging in the area. The breakfast was delicious and felt extra luxurious when it was served in the bedroom. This place is absolutely worth a detour if you are nearby!

The bed was very comfortable and the property is far enough from the road that even with my windows open it was very quiet. The village has several ristorante/pizzeria options. I especially liked Trattoria il Fiore antica osteria, had a nice menu of traditional regional dishes well made and at reasonable prices. Federico was very accommodating and gave great recommendations about parking in Parma and Bologna.MonteSolo traveller
