Featuring mountain views, Amore Tekapo features accommodation with patio, around 45 km from Mt. Dobson. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. We cancelled our booking at another property and booked last minute and they responded instantly.

Located in Lake Tekapo, 45 km from Mt. Dobson, Star River provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. I had an email with complete instructions on what to do and how to enter the property. No key exchanges as the property had coded locks or smart door. the place is well managed by James who knew the place so well and he had a lot of recommendation of where to go, where to eat and what to do. great guy!

Well equipped. Great bed. Patio chairs to sit outside in the sunshine. Very quiet so great night’s sleep.

Location is good that close to the restaurants and supermarket (2-min drive). The suite is spacious, clean and comfort. Staff is helpful and nice. Highly recommended for couples and families.

Set in the peaceful countryside of Omarama, ASURE Sierra Motel offers heated rooms featuring a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Some rooms offer mountain views. Owner is very kind to lend us bike, olive oil, and vinegar for short-distance trips and cooking in the kitchen of the room. The property is well-equipped with basically whatever you need! Check-in was also speedy and owner as always gave a bottle of milk though we are lactose intolerant.
