The accommodation is in a nice quiet area, very easy to reach by train. There are two stations close by, 10-15 min. walk. Two supermarkets (Lidl and Aldi) are just next door. It is a walkable distance to Zaanse Schans, around 35 minutes. Gabrielle, the hostess is a lovely person and made us feel very wellcome! She brought us an amazing, delicios, huge breakfast every morning. There was enough food to eat later on. The accommodation has a garden with chairs ans sunbeds and a great finnish "tynnyrisauna" :) There are also hamam towels and bathrobes to use for sauna. You have coffee and versitile selection of teas to enjoy anytime. I can higly recommend this accommodation and if we get back to the Netherlands, we will definetly stay again at Gabrielle´s!

My partner and I booked this stay in the winter, expecting terrible weather and hoping for a place to hibernate and relax after a long year. We were not disappointed :) We particularly enjoyed the spa bath and the projector with streaming services ! The sauna too was lovely, and easy to use following the video instructions kindly sent by the host. There is also a hot tub and fireplace on the balcony. The apartment was clean and beautifully presented, and the bed was super comfortable! It was also well equipped with everything one could need - soaps, shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, hairdryer, robes and plenty of fluffy towels - tea and coffee, mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, portable stovetop, cutlery and plates etc We found the location to be well connected and easy to reach from Amsterdam Centraal via public transport. It is also worth mentioning that the host is very friendly, helpful and attentive! Perfect place for couples, very relaxing stay any time of year.

Beautiful little wooden cottage type building within the owner’s garden. It was beautifully laid out and comfortable. All was there that was needed. Bianca was an amazing host and exceptionally kind and attentive. Would love to stay there again and would highly recommend it

everything about this property was stunning. the location was quiet, the facilities lovely. the host is extremely accommodating and lent us bikes to get to the station which is a short bike ride away. it was great to return to the peace and quiet from the busy city. being on the canal was nice and if we had more time we would have taken up the offer of using the canoes. Amsterdam is so easily accessible by riding to the station and then taking very frequent trains.

For me the location of the hotel in Zaandam was excellent. I wanted to be halfway from Amsterdam where I could visit the city center and its best historical sites and on the other hand, just 10 minutes in the opposite direction to reach Zaanse Schans and be able to walk next to the centuries-old windmills and their idyllic channels and fields. The room was perfect, the view of the city of Zaandam from the room was very nice. Breakfast was in a very pleasant dining room. It was very varied and complete. Great variety of cheeses, sausages, breads, juices, and lots of fresh fruit. The attention of the staff was very friendly. Faced with a need for information, I appreciated the intervention of Mr. Jaime Andreas Reservation Manager, who was superb and extremely efficient.

My boss booked this hotel for my work trip, staff was friendly, the rooms were perfect, good breakfast overall a really great experience When I checked out there was a primary school class in the lobby I saw the staff entertaining the class which was so funny to see, they taught them how to be in Hospitality which I thought was brilliant since I had my own business in Hospitality for over 4 years, to see that genuinely made my day

Zaandam is a nice and quiet town, out of the hustle and bustle and nowhere near as busy or crowded as Amsterdam! A supermarket, train station and the town centre is right opposite the Hotel. This is a great place to stay if you’re wanting to visit Amsterdam but don’t want to pay triple the price on accommodation for half the quality. Only 2 stops on the train to Amsterdam or Zaanse Schans and other neighbourhoods. Would highly recommend.

The suite was reasonably priced for a central location just 4 minutes from the railway station, and just what we needed for a 2 night stay while we visited Zaanse Schans. Microwave, kettle, coffee maker and fridge, and Albert Heijns just two minutes walk away meant that we could be self-catering. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Lock-up bike shed for our bikes during our staty. Stains on the carpet and dirty windows meant we couldn't give it a 10.
