The staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable and the rooms are clean and comfortable, all facing lake Jindabyne. Very affordable and easy to find, park at and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and lake Jindabyne walking track.

The property is a north-facing, 3 level traditional chalet featuring mountain views from all rooms and private on-site parking. Kosciusko Express Quad Chair is 300 metres from Pure Thredbo Chalet. We visited this "ski" lodge in summer. The entire area is a "V" with the one side the road and parking for this stay, the bottom is the ski lift / commercial district, and the right side the top of the mountain. Easy to get your bags to the lodge. Many steps down to town and if you climb the moutain the walk back up the steps is strenuous. The host is wonderful and cooks a tasty, filling breakfast. We enjoyed the other couples in sharing stories from around the world.

Convenient location! Quiet with a beautiful lake view. Nice high ceiling with aircon and fireplace. Spacious with plenty of beds for a family. A large couch for the family to enjoy movies on netflix after dinner. Great kitchen with quality appliances. Friendly staff. Will come back next year!

Guests enjoy cosy accommodation and three meals each day in a picturesque ski-out location, just moments from chairlifts and Front Valley. A big thanks to the manager who was super helpful through out my stay. Dinner was amazing, far beyond other ski lodges I stayed near by. The property was immaculately clean and extremely well maintained for a building at it’s age.

Really cosy, super clean, and brilliant hosts.

Altitude 1260 is situated 8 minutes' drive from Jindabyne, 18 minutes' drive from Thredbo and 7 minutes' drive from the Perisher Ski-tube. It exceeded my expectations in every way. Breakfast was simple but delicious.... and a great start to the day. Eggs were done perfectly and the view from the breakfast room is simply unbeatable. The evening meal was awesome, and the hosts amazing. The small bar at the end of the evening was a great place to hang out. Managed to see wombats, deer, wallabies and emu all the same day.
