Featuring free WiFi and air conditioning, Leisure Tourist Park is located in Port Macquarie. Kempsey is 39 km away. Free private parking is available on site. Unfortunately I recently had to attend a family members funeral on short notice and needed accommodation for myself and my 2 adult daughters for a couple of nights. I came across Leisure Tourist Park during my search and as it was close to where we had to go and the prices were great I booked it. I informed the office we would be arriving late (10pm) and as the reception is closed at that time they supplied me with details on how to obtain the keys on arrival which proved very easy. They provided a map of the park so we could find our unit easily. Free parking was outside the unit which made for a very simple unload from the car. We stayed in a two bedroom unit (no 101) which was immaculately clean and had a great design layout with the front door opening onto an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining area with the two bedrooms and a bathroom off that, there was plenty of room for us all. On the opposite side of the lounge/dining area is a sliding door that opens to a beautiful lawn area with lots of outdoor tables and chairs, a small children's playground, BBQ area and 2 pools. The grounds are very well maintained as well. The reception staff I spoke to on the morning after our arrival were lovely and very helpful. The cleaning and maintenance staff must be amazing as well as everything is so clean and fresh. As previously stated we only stayed for 2 nights this time but I will certainly be looking to rebook in the near future for a longer relaxing stay. The park is a very close drive to town and to many eateries, social clubs and Pubs. I highly recommend this tourist park especially for families with small children.

Located in Port Macquarie in the New South Wales region with Port Macquarie Regional Stadium nearby, Tranquil At Hibbard - 21 Hibbard Drive provides accommodation with free private parking. This home is very well maintained and it was a joy to arrive at a clean, well laid out home with all the amenities that we needed. Located so close to the heart of everything. The beds were super comfy and the added thoughtfulness of supplying labels to locate everything, STACKS of dvds, books to read and family games to play was all greatly appreciated. Our teenager was definitely emotional about having to leave and wants this to be our "go to" for future Port Macquarie trips. Even not having internet was an easy work around for us (hotspotting) on the odd rainy morning and cruisy evenings we had

Vibrant town centre with lots of restaurants and harbour/ estuary views. Great beaches and walks up to the lighthouse at Tacking Point. Must-do staging point if travelling by car between Brisbane and Sydney. Glad we stayed 2 nights rather than 1.
Nice Getaway. You can do Jet Ski at $240 per hour, and can swap drivers. Sea Plane ride was good, but not comfortable. Book a day in advance else you have to come back next day. One thing is food is expensive in the place.
The Bowling Club was located at the back of the apartment building and only a short stroll away. Perfect place for dinner. Also love the restaurant at Westport for dinner. We have been there numerous times and never disappointed. We have stayed in PM numerous times and always love coming back. Great accommodation, walks, beach and cafes. The Sea Acres Rainforest is definitely worth a visit and the food at the Cafe is lovely.
Happy and helpful staff at motel and EI restaurant. The comfiest bed 🫠 you could ask for and walking distance to river, beach, restaurants and shopping centre. Given Free coffees upon book in for breakfast was a lovely bonus. 😊 Only disappointment was upgraded to balcony for the treat of the view of the river as shown in picture. We had a view of a car park. 😟
Call a place paradise and kiss it goodbye. PMQ case in point Pros - The beaches would be among the best in the world. - Greenery - Nature attractions/urban wildlife - Improvements on waterfront world class - Beach walkway from Town to Lighthouse beach amazing. Cons - Roads are simply appalling in many places, just pothole covers holding hands and a should be a real embarrassment to local council, though looks in places they have started fixing the problem - High elderly and low socio-economic population, kind of depressing local population - Population/development explosion, high rents and tariffs - Lots of hoons and bogans, exercise vigilance late at night - Increasingly visible homeless problem - Town is over promoted and exploited, certainly not a place to "get away from it all" anymore, its got plenty of what you came to escape, best to come outside of public and school holidays, always some pesky "festival" or event going on blocking roads and causing chaos - Not a quaint fishing/holiday destination anymore - If you strike a "Red Weed" season on your holiday, any beach-river activities are ruined. -Service in most establishments is terrible
Clean town, good beach, plenty of restaurants and a very good bowls club for dinner, remember to take id. Stopped overnight going and returning from Victoria/ Queensland. There are some good motels just back from the beach.
