Hotels near Tenerife Sur Airport - TFS, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Lovely little village, far from the flashy "resorts" with their Las-Vegas vibe, just a down to earth place with a lovely waterfront, a great little beach, excellent restaurants and natural rock pools minutes away. Good transport links to other parts of Tenerife. Great for a chilled holiday, perfect weather all year round.

La Tejita has a very nice beach close to the accommodation, which is close to a supermarket, good Mexican restaurant and Montana Roja. The owners are very friendly and understanding. We found everything we needed in the villa, which is close to a private pool with shower. Peaceful place, perfect for rest and family vacations. The weather is perfect, warm for December, we will definitely be back.

The location was in a very difficult to access to the property. The room provided to us was without light outside of the room. Dirty bed sheets (pillows were brown colour). The smell inside the room was horrible. We had a slide door with glass (no curtains) and the lock didn’t work. Not door keys was not provided to us. It was not privacy because the share kitchen and bathroom was opposite to our room. Finally, very dangerous stairs. Very bad experience in this place. We left the same day and we sent an email to the owner about it. (He was most concern about the time because he has another job)The host didn’t reply to my messages. Again, horrible experience.

El Medano is traditional Spanish beach village. It is not a tourist hotspot and it has a very different feel to other areas of Tenerife. We enjoyed that aspect. There are still many restaurants and cafes to enjoy but not as many crowds.

Nice place near small Vulcanic Montana Roja with fantastic not overcrowded beach with bar....you can make a trip to mountain Roja, I recommended as a must, swim, drink and eat on beach and observe sunset... What is a negative is a big building in construction but without progress, no workers or machines were here during our stay, god for us. It´s really terrible construction near protected area Roja mountain. I can't understand how government can allow to build such ugly building near small apartments in which we stayed and in localization like there it is.

Great small town with access to airport and near to ElMédano/ excellent for long walks / great food in local cafes and restaurants - especially Venezuelan! Nice hippie vibe- feels undiscovered - keep it this way!
