Good for one night stay before early flight. Key code is sent to you just before you arrive. The place was packed actually, lots of cars. There is Shell station just across the road. Room was clean, and there was all you need, including a tea kettle. I ordered Arrows taxi in the morning, and here is a tip - the post code may be not too accurate as the taxi was waiting at different location nearby. You can get Airport Flyer A1 bus as well.
The best thing about Felton was Bristol Airport. I needed an airport to fly from post lock down. The staff at the airport were very friendly and helpful and also a great taxi service. All I can say really except I would have loved to have visited Bristol. It looked like an awesome place. Very friendly people
The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. However I hardly slept because of the heavy traffic on the A38 and the outside lights. Were I to stay again I would specify a room at the back!
Not being a driver public transport was good for getting to different locations good for solo travellers major city a bos ride away would visit again river cruise was very good and hop on hop off bus is a great way to explore the city of Bristol
This is a busy hotel and the nearest one to Bristol Airport. I was happy to pay the extra for the convenience. However it has the standards of a Budget Hotel with rooms that are very small and cramped but functional. No problems booking in and the dining is again very busy and functional. The breakfast was free for me and was appreciated. I did not like the fact that the car parking charge was a surprise but also expensive. It would have been cheaper to park in the Airport Car Parks.
Lovely property but in the wrong hands. Mouldy fruit, old Lidl produce in the fridge, and everything inside done on the cheap. No oven which to me says not self catered as advertised. Wifi only in half the apartment - needs a signal booster installed. Shoddy kitchen utensils and dirty/dusty glasses and plates. Yuck. I'd rather stay home where I keep my place clean and buy nice things for my fridge.
Friendly staff offering good service, good food at a fair price. Power failures (not the hotels fault) cut the evening short, on a positive note the emergency lighting was good. Not a criticism but a possible step forward, our stay as I'm sure many are was due to the location of Bristol Airport, as we had an early flight and missed out on breakfast (part of the price) perhaps a sandwich or continental offering could be provided.
