Opposite Doncaster Racecourse, the Campanile Hotel Doncaster is 15 minutes drive from Robin Hood Airport and 5 minutes from the city centre. It has a bar, restaurant and Wi-Fi.

I have stayed in Campinele on the continent, this Hotel was fine for a stay away, my room was. Ok, it maybe needed a little paint to brighten it up, but the cost was very very competitive and that was more important to me, I would use Campinile again, the staff were great

I'm absolutely disgusted by the service of this...

I'm absolutely disgusted by the service of this accommodation. They took money out of my account twice after a mistake. I quickly contacted them and they agreed to issue the refund. It has been over 2 months now, and 4 phone calls later after being told it would be sorted, it still isn't sorted. I stayed at this accommodation for my daughter for an exam she had, and this added stress of being told something but not having it actually done was the last thing we both needed. I have spoken to different people at the racecourse and everytime I've been promised a follow-up and for the situation to be solved, but this has not been the case. I do NOT recommend this accommodation at all, purely due to the lack of respect they have for their customers. Leaving customers in the dark and misleading them every time is not how a business should operate, and I have had no choice but to resorting to writing this review.

Clean, and friendly staff. Good food especially breakfast. All freshly cooked and not sitting baking under heat lamps as in to many reasonably priced hotels. Also good sized room. Will go back if in the area next year. Also really handy for the event we were attending. Dogs made very welcome which was a big bonus 👍

Reception staff - efficient, friendly with smooth quick check in and check out. Room was small but comfy. Excellent value for money. Reception areas clean fresh and well maintained. Bar was cosy with a large screen TV, again staff friendly - quick food service. Food was piping hot, tasty and large portions.

Location was great, 10 min walk to city centre. Hotel itself is lovely, I paid I think £63/£68 for a Saturday night, I did t think the price was bad at all!! And especially for the hotel!! It’s lovely. Room was a good size, nice shower, good facilities in the room (hair dryer, kettle, tv, a telephone!!)

Friendly, helpful staff. Good location for a planned work meeting. Good size (single) room with enormous bathroom. Comfy bed. Lovely view from back of hotel. I didn't eat there, so can't comment, but the restaurant looked cosy and pleasant. Hope to stay again when I next visit Doncaster for work.

Pleasant stay generally. Staying on a Wednesday in November so streets outside were quiet but I'm guessing would be pretty noisy at the weekend. Only to be expected for a city centre hotel. Good location for theatre i was going to.
