Great hotel, purposeful being so close to the airport and they’ve upgraded so everything is clean and fresh. A big shout out to Kevin who showed me around the executive lounge and was nothing but helpful in making sure my team and I had somewhere to sit and work throughout the day due to flight delays. Can’t thank him enough and his team for accommodating us.

Just 10 minutes’ drive from Gatwick Airport, The Gatwick White House Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Horley town centre. On-site parking is available at an additional charge. Very nice accommodation close to Gatwick Airport that I used due to the early morning flight.
Owner is clearly not right in the head. Tipped pure household bleach into hot tub and swimming pool which were frothing from the bleach. Dog excrement was around lawn area from owners own dog and was there the whole time we were staying there!! Police called and arrived numerous times over our 3 night stay due to unruly occupants who were threatening other occupiers and owner was oblivious to it all as off her head on drugs and alcohol. Numerous times woken at early hours of morning by other residents. Was told it was a "one off" but apparently not the case as this went on for whole 3 nights!!! We were just too tired to leave plus had already booked to go sightseeing in London on the Sunday and no doubt everywhere booked up asa Bank Holiday so no choice but to stay or loose more money from leaving. Police in end on early hours Bank Holiday Monday gave owner a caution for breach of the peace and would be arrested if she continued! Says another about the place if that's the owner getting that! Avoid this place at all costs what seems nice at first isn't always as it makes out!!!
Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel took a negative turn when they unexpectedly canceled my reservation without providing any explanation. Upon further investigation, I discovered that there were indeed five rooms available, similar to the one I had originally booked. However, upon entering the room, I was disappointed to find it in a dirty state. I took photographs of the unacceptable conditions and presented them to the receptionist during check-out. Instead of addressing the issue, I was accused of dishonesty, with the receptionist denying the existence of such conditions. Additionally, I encountered hygiene issues throughout the room, with hair scattered in various places. Furthermore, I was unable to use the blow dryer inside the bathroom due to an incompatibility with the energy outlet, which was inconvenient and frustrating. Overall, these experiences significantly detracted from my stay at the hotel and left me feeling dissatisfied with the level of service and accommodation provided.
They advertised the hotel as being 3 miles outside Gatwick Airport - It was more like 30 miles! Not easy to get around as there is no facilities in the immediate area i.e. restaurants/bars. Bar closed early 10.30p.m. although advertised as closing at 11 p.m. even when people were still asking for drinks.
Nice small local shopping area with good parking, a pub and lots of people hanging out on a Friday evening. There's takeaway pizza, kebabs, fish and chips and Chinese all on a row. There's also at least three convenience stores a green grocer and a post office.
Convenient for one night for an early flight next day. Host ought to heat the place when people are arriving. Due to motorway accident we didn’t get there until 10.30pm and it was freezing cold. Not at all welcoming. Also nothing there to even make a hot cuppa, considering most people stay just a night to get a flight next day, you arent really going to be taking milk with you are you. Bed was comfortable, however as it was so ice cold, it was freezing and obviously we were keen to sleep after an arduous journey and a 3.30am wake up next day. So went to bed in T-shirt leggings and socks! Curtains would also make it more homely and warm (just my opinion) would only stay again if it was warmer months. Just a bit of consideration and thought by the hosts would go a long way.
eating out of her outside bin RSPCA AND TRADING STANDARDS NEED TO BE CONTACTED. Reading reviews online I can see she has done this many many times before and needs to be stopped please remove this evil woman's business from booking.com and other sites. Richard.
