Located in Lossiemouth in the Grampian region, 87 Lighthouse View Lodge features a patio. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Owners were hands off but very easy to contact and support my requests promptly. The property is fully functional, immaculately kept and has an excellent boiler so place was warm with excellent shower. The kitchen is well equipped with a full oven and the living room is spacious. The lighthouse is visible from the veranda. Wifi was good too and parking is easy. This camp site is the best of the two at Lossiemouth (more grass and space and closer to the prettier West Beach). Situated in Lossiemouth, Highway provides accommodation with a heated pool. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The caravan is great! Clean, spacious and great value for money. Dog friendly which was a bonus for us having a labrador. The caravan is ideally situated near the facilities which is great during the day. It was a little noisy at night with people leaving the bar. Communication with the owner Karen was very smooth. Always on hand to answer any questions. Silversands is lovely. Great access to the beautiful beach. There are lots of facilities on site for kids too. The restaurant food does need improvement. I felt like we'd just eaten a bargain microwave meal. Some of the staff also seemed to be having a bad day. Don't let that put you off. There a couple of good places to eat in Lossiemouth. Harbour Lights has really good food and service. All in all a lovely stay. Thanks Karen!

Overlooking the Moray Firth, this family-run hotel is situated in Lossiemouth. The hotel is directly opposite the historic Moray Golf Club, and is centrally located for exploring the Whisky Trail. On site restaurant was great. Included breakfast too.
We visited at the end of May and honestly expected it to be busier (happy that it was not) I think it is one of those places that many people have yet to discover. It is worth the trip. There are just enough facilities, food outlets, pubs, shopping, etc to keep you going. The beaches are lovely, kept clean (we saw the local Brownies / Guides doing a rubbish collecting service on the beach one evening - which I thought shows that the locals take pride in the area - even though people should be more respectful and take their rubbish home) The golf club and course is excellent too. And the ice cream - well - get me some more!!
Lossiemouth has a beautiful beach, and everything you need in the town centre. There are plenty of takeaways and bars in the town. And local supermarkets. Lossiemouth is in a good location for visiting other areas.
It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth. It is well placed for travelling to places of interest. RAF Lossiemouth is set away from the town, but it is exciting to see some of the Typhoons doing manoeuvres over the sea. There are a couple of good restaurants, but they are small and are not open late. It has a very good golf course, which is very popular and it holds important tournaments.
Such a beautiful place. Highly recommend the salt cellar for a meal. The boat trip onto the moray firth dolphin spotting wow to be up close to these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was simply mindblowing. The beach is stunning and a lovely place for a stroll watching surfers and an array of wildlife you really could lose yourself for a few hours here it is so tranquil.
Lossiemouth is a delightful seaside town with two beautiful white sandy beaches. Lots of room and never over run. A delight to have a peaceful walk or a dip in the ocean. The water in September we found positively balmy. There is a sports centre and swimming pool and some really nice restaurants and hotels.
One of my favourite parts of Scotland. Great breaches withing easy reach. Plenty to do incl dolphin watching, golf, whisky trails etc. Enough local shops, pubs but within a few miles of Elgin when required.
