A 5-minute walk from JR Komatsu Train Station’s West Exit, the Komatsu Grand has a public bath, a sauna and a Japanese/Western breakfast buffet. The modern rooms include an LCD TV and free WiFi. This was our first stay at a Apa Hotel chain. The room is a typical Japanese city hotel that is small compared to US rooms. They had a robe that you could wear in the room. The breakfast buffet spread was quite nice with a variety of items to choose from.

Komatu area is busy for construction of Hokuriku Shinkansen express Railway I visited KOMATSU NO MORI just east of station where the very big construction machine I never seen like that next I visited museum next to airport simulator is very interesting and at last visiting automobile museum, that is good nostalgic cars mostly mad in Japan
