There is a tree house, and a small train for children on property...and city parks not even 5 minutes walking... in car, accessible to a lot of activities... matsumoto castle, alpine park... land lord speaks English...really clean. Oh you need to press a button to turn on warm water... a bit before taking a bath. Nice staff...helpful...

To no one's surprise, a Japanese hotel is super cleanly and orderly. The Route Inn gives you the option of having a light daily cleaning and a full daily cleaning. I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.

The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again if in Shiojiri. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. It is in an excellent location, close to the train station.
