Hotel is very close to the airport, our flight was at 7:40, so the last night of our trip we decided to spend close to the airport , but we didn’t expect that this will be the cherry on the pie. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. When we arrived we received a welcome cake with champagne. The room was compact, but very comfortable. But the biggest surprise was waiting for us in the morning. 1 - it was a basket of breakfast at 5am, 2 - the owner itself took us to the airport by car. Thanks a lot, it was really very nice of you. In this world it is very valuable to stay human. Thanks

Literally a 5 minute walk, yet you could not hear any planes and the sleeping was quiet. Excellent staff, very responsive and accommodating. Nice breakfast for purchase if you wish. I travel A LOT and am fairly critical, so when I say it's great, it REALLY is great!!! And this hotel IS great!

Located 400 metres from Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport, OPOHOTEL Porto Aeroporto features a restaurant and a bar in Maia. The entire staff is very friendly, from desk till restaurant. We have been there many times ( for 7 years) and they always are willing to help even if it was our own mistake! It is close to the airport and highway but no noise inside. 5 minutes wake to the airport and the have a shuttlebus if required. Parking place is good and safe and for a couple of days not expansive. Rooms are big, bathroom is well equipped and the showes is tremendous big, enough space for 2 people (2 showers). Good big beds. Climate control no noise. The restaurant is clean, the food is good, wine choice is sufficient and prices are fair.

An 8 minute walk (on sidewalks) to the airport). Host was kind enough to leave us juice, coffee, fresh bread, cheese and ham for a quick breakfast before our 6am flight. Plenty of space in our unit to spread out and organize. One challenge for some may be a short spiral staircase…..we were able to manage with our carry-on bags no problem. Wouldn’t want to schlep up a big or heavy suitcase.
