Amira and Abdul Aziz were perfect hosts and went the extra mile to ensure we got to the places we wanted to visit. We really appreciated the ride back to the train station with a lovely sightseeing stop en route. Margilan was an excellent base to visit the silk factory, bazaar and the Ceramic Centre in Rishton.

Guest House Ikathouse is a recently renovated guest house in Marghilon, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. This guest house offers a bar. The guesthouse is clean and comfortable with large rooms and a lovely courtyard. It is filled with gorgeous textiles as the family who runs it have produced fabric for 10 generations! Breakfast is excellent, with quality prioritized over quantity. We were able to use the washing machine to do laundry. The guesthouse staff helped us book an excellent driver to transport us back to Tashkent.

If you’re looking for a hostel near Fergana, you don’t have that many choices anyway, but the Guest House Evergreen is one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in. The staff were incredibly accommodating and lovely. Breakfast was also really nice. The room itself was comfortable, and even when it was nearly 40C during the day, it wasn’t too hot at night, even without air conditioning.
