The accommodation has a seating area. hospitality is the main key! the staff make you feel like you are home. The food is delicious. The rooms are big and comfortable. Loved the place!

Umlani Bushcamp is a classic African safari camp in Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of Greater Kruger National Park. Game drives, bush walks and meals are included in the rate. Everything! The location in the bush was amazing. The rustic facilities was exactly what we were hoping to experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They could not have done anything more for us. The food was amazing. And then, there were the daily excursions into the bush. Again, amazing. Our Ranger and Tracker were very knowledgeable about all that we were seeing. They did amazing tracking and driving to get us as close as possible to the free-roaming animals. Each ride had a special happening. We wanted to see an elephant. We saw a mother elephant playing and teaching her baby, 2-week old elephant. We wanted to see a lion. We saw over 20 lions, including being in the middle of a group roaring/talking to each other. We wanted to see a rhino. We saw 4 rhinos meeting in a group as a mother seemed to be teaching her babies.Each ride was exceptional.

Kambaku Lodge is located in the heart of Timbavati Nature Reserve and has a waterhole which attracts members of the Big 5. Each of the rooms and chalets feature African décor and a private patio. In my honest opinion, everything is great with Kambaku Safari Lodge. Food is excellent and exceeded my expectations, game drives are super worth it, and the guide and tracker will do their upmost to ensure you can see the big 5. And I manage to see them at least twice. Every single staff are really out to try to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. I also like the part when during brunch and dinner, one of the guides will be sitting down with everyone. It's a good way to ask them questions, learn more about the area, their experiences, what are being done to help protect the animals etc Gideon and Eric are among the best guides and tracker. Every time we spotted something, they just know how to position the vehicle to ensure you are in the best position to take pictures. Yes, you will not go wrong visiting this lodge

Situated in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Kambaku River Sands features game drives and bush walks. The lodge was beautiful and the rooms incredible. Friendly helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for you. amazing food.

With Timbavati Private Nature & Game Reserve reachable in 15 km, Simbavati Waterside provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Everything is perfect. The facility, foods, location, staff is much better than expected. We didn’t see leopard. However we were very satisfied to see a very impressive scene ( lions eating zebra….)

Set in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Kruger National Park, Baobab Ridge features an outdoor pool. It offers private cottages with a furnished terrace. Things started well when we were met by Lynette the manager and given a full tour of the property, including our room. On our first night, we were surprised with a candlelit veranda and bottle of fizz after our game drive, to celebrate our honeymoon, which was very special. Game drives twice daily with Moven and Paul were wonderful, with regular high quality sightings of game. Moven really went above and beyond to ensure we saw the big five, and had the opportunity to spend time enjoying our sightings, often finishing drives late to allow this. We also did a morning walk with Jason, Paul and Cunnan which was a real highlight- giving us an fascinating insight into the delicate balance of the local ecosystem, and we even sighted a leopard! The food was abundant and delicious, and the bar well stocked and good value. The nightly dinners by the fire were lovely as an opportunity to get to know our fellow guests, and we very much enjoyed being joined by Paul one evening, who was excellent company and told us lots of fascinating stories about his experiences as a guide. The rooms were huge, beautifully decorated and the bath was a delight. We cannot wait to return.

Waterbuck Game Lodge Thornybush Nature Reserve is situated in the Southern part of The Thornybush Nature Reserve, adjacent to a water estuary and waterhole. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff at Waterbuck Game Lodge did everything to make our stay unforgettable. The rooms were gorgeous, with everything one could ask for. The drives were unforgettable, and while of course you cannot really plan on what you’re gonna see, everything in the power was done by our guide Matt and his tracker Solly to find the animals we were hoping to see. To see the beautiful Sengile, and to meet the youngest Avoca daughter, her mom, aunt, her dad and two uncles will be something we shall never forget!

Africa on Foot is located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The rustic-style camp features thatched chalet accommodation, a bar and a viewing deck with splash pool and sun loungers. Food was delicious, staff were warm friendly and informative

With Timbavati Private Nature & Game Reserve reachable in 8.5 km, Simbavati Trails Camp offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. It very interesting place. this camp specific for walking safari. and it's tents in open bush, animals can walk around tents. it's amazing experience. its portable shower on the air back side of the tent, no tap, only a washing basin and a jug. Only 4 tents in the camp. Food was very tasty Staff very friendly and professional. During our stay we saw like elephants drink a water from a swimming pool )) it's was brilliant Definitely must visit for 1 or 2 nights!
