The apartment was spacious and clean with good quality kitchen equipment and comfortable lounge area. Security was a first for us with an app which activated as a door key for the duration of our stay. OK if you don't run out of battery on your phone! Parking was off site but safe and very close.

Cleaning equipment was provided, dishwasher was broken but it was fine. Knives weren't sharp but we managed. Enough cutlery and crockery to use, if self catering best to cook using the hobs and not the grill or oven. Layout of the flat is great, very spacious, suitable for the three of us. Monday nights are bell ringing nights at the church so if you were thinking of an early night on a Monday don't bother, was quite nice to hear it.KathleenFamily with young children

I find that many self catering establishments don't offer tea, coffee and milk but the gate house had that and a coffee machine with pods!!!!!
