The Westwood Apartments

The units come with parquet floors and feature a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a dining area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. An oven, a microwave and toaster are also provided, as well as a kettle. At the aparthotel, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels.

The rooms were perfect, it was a short drive away from city centre. The staff were very friendly. We hope that the next time we're in Galway we'll have a chance to stay here again.

The host was lovely and accommodating and even left a welcome hamper which was lovely to see having arrived at night time. The apartment had all the facilities needed for a self catering stay along with a very comfy bed. It had a tv that you can hook up to Netflix if you want a nice night in. We had booked 3 beds in the room but when we got there were only 2 beds in the room. When I ran reception and spoke to Mo the Manager , he was apologetic and said it was their error and offered to put in a camp bed but we felt the room was too small , he offered a reduced rate which included breakfast . He was very nice and we were happy with the hotel service . We ate dinner in the hotel . Menu was limited not a good choice for coeliacs . Breakfast nice . The 2 bed "apartment" is made for 2 students and not 4 adults. The "double" bed is actually a four foot bed. Luckily, we are not tall or heavy people. Galway is great.
