Very compact, but with everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen so that I could cook my own meals, a very comfortable bed, great shower, and easy walking distance to the main sights and conveniences of Ljubljana. Good view of the castle too! The self-check in instructions were very clear, and the free onsite parking is convenient. The owner was even kind enough to post me an item that I left behind! I was preparing breakfasts myself. Due to the well equipped kitchen annex in my room and well-supplied supermarket just 400 meters from the place it was very easy. The hotel is located in a quiet cosy villa quarter of Ljubljana. However, walking distance to the center is 40 mins and by bus it takes less than 10 mins. You only have to buy Urbana card which you can buy in the mentioned supermarket. You cannot pay cash in busses. So, despite it is not located in the center the location is very good. The hotel is very well suited for people who want to relax in a cosy place and still be able to socialize (not too heavily ;-) ) in the center. The managing lady is very helpfull and friendly. Room and the whole object was clean and comfortable.

The bed and the sofa were so confy. Everything in the room was choosen with care and attention. There was a chic terrace in front of the property, we had our coffe there. We had parking inside the yard. Janja, the host, was so nice, we locked ourselves outside by mistake and she took from her time to come and unlock and set the locking mechanism so it would not happend again. Next morning we had a great beakfast at MaCherie. We only stayed one night, but I wish we could stayed more.

clean, quiet, modern, large rooms, all amenities, immediate and courteous service from family owners, excellent location - 14 minutes from downtown parking next to the pedestrian-only old city center. 5 minutes from highway exits leading you in less than 1.5 hours to the remotest attractions in Slovenia. the hotel has a Burger restaurant too, which they claim is the best in Slovenia. we tasted it twice, and so far was the best we've eaten in many other places. free private parking for your car, and walking proximity to small grocery store that has all the necessities you may need. everyone speaks English, or tries to, and isn't offended by you not mastering the local language. best value for the money I've had in a long time especially for Slovenia.
