On top of the facilities was the beautiful host’s who made us so welcome !! This was our #1 stay in our 8 weeks travelling beautiful Italy 💙💙💙💙

It has a very nice kitchen, a beautiful garden, a football camp, and places to stay and play. We walked around in the fields picking up some wild berries. It was wonderful in spite of the heat! Residenza Antica Canonica is located in a 15th-century building in the historic centre of Città di Castello, right beside the Cathedral. Suites and apartments are elegantly designed.

All accommodation at the Antica Canonica is equipped with a kitchenette, and offers free Wi-Fi and a view of the historic centre. Rooms are decorated with antique furnishings. The location in the center of the village was perfect. The bathroom was spacious with an excellent shower and very clean. The kitchen was adequately equipped although we didn't use it to cook. There's an elevator to its third floor entry.

The studios are named after the elements in St Francis' Canticle of the Sun and come with Sky television and cooking facilities. Each suite includes its own computer, allowing you to connect to the internet free of charge. Wi-Fi access is also available free, should you wish to bring your own laptop. 6 out of the 7 suites have a beautiful view of Piazza Santa Chiara and the valley below. Everything was perfect! The place looks as if taken from a movie. The rooms are big and they are equipped with everything you might need to make your stay at wonderful Assisi better.
