Our experience at Alpenhaus Dachstein.Zauber was an amazing one. We have travelled all over the world and this is one of our favourite places we have ever stayed at. The warmth, the care, the attention to detail, the accessibility, and the continuous support. Such a helpful and kind hosts and we really felt spoilt by them with our welcome hamper! Gregor and Kinga went above and beyond what we expected to make us feel welcome. The apartment is amazing! The attention to detail, amenities, outdoor space, cleanliness, location, the list goes on! We didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back in the near future. Highly recommended, 10/10! Thank you, Gregor and Kinga, so much!

We (family of 6, 4 kids) spent one week in this appartment and we were absolutely satisfied. The appartment has 3 separate rooms with a sofa bed in the living room, so enogh space for big family / group. The owners are very kind and open to solve any problem. Abtenau and its surrounding is not highly visited place but that is a plus if you want to enjoy hiking/walking and don't want to meet many people. Highly recommended to anybody :)

There are many details in the apartment which show the hosts put a lot of effort into it. We really appreciated it. The surround area is very quiet. There are always several cows with bells on the slope crossing the road. The sound of cowbells only made the area felt even more quiet. It's 5-min drive to the town of Abtenau at which there are several nice restaurants, and supermarket like Spar and Billa. One of the best time for us was that getting some food (still dilicious) back from Spar, then had the dinner at the balcony enjoying the sunset.

It was a pleasure to live in this place these few days. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly ❤️ It's because of them that this place is so great. A large room with a private bathroom, a large balcony, access to an equally large and well-equipped kitchen and a separate living room. Revelation! incredible comfort! everything perfectly clean and the beds are also very comfortable 😀 and this view from the balcony for coffee at sunrise - something magical 🥹 I'm counting down the days until I return!

Absolutely lovely, really spacious apartment with a gorgeous view from a huge wooden balcony. If you are looking for somewhere quiet to escape the city and take some deep breaths: this is your place. The kitchen is superbly equipped, all appliances new and well taken care of - no shortcuts taken, so cooking was fun and needed no improvisations. We will definitely be back!

The spacious apartment has everything you need for a couple of days of fresh mountain air. Well equipped kitchen. Hiking trails leading in all directions. The owner is very friendly and responsive on any questions you might have.

The equipment is without comments - you get all you need for a comfortable stay. The arrival and communication with the very helpful owner was perfect. It is a great place for winter sports - cross country tracks, ski areas and great skitours are within several minute's drive.

Ideally located and within walking distance to Abtenau. The host family were very welcoming and friendly and there was excellent communication. We would highly recommend this property.

The host/manager was very welcoming both before (giving us directions for public transport) and during our short stay. Food was good and scenery is spectacular. Possible to get there by train and 470 bus from Salzburg in 60 minutes. We'd definitely recommend it.
