The apartments were spotless. Always a nice smell on entering. Beds are very comfortable. Close enough to walk to St. James Church in 15 or 20 mins (3 mins by car), and the location is quiet at night. There is a filling station with cold drinks and snacks 2 mins walk, or a few small supermarkets 5 or 10 mins walk. The owners are very nice. Highly recommended.

My recent stay at an apartment in the city of Medugorje was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, our experience was characterized by warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality. I can confidently say that this was one of the most exceptional stays we've had, and it was primarily due to the incredible host (Josip), who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being. Location: The apartment's location was ideal. Situated in front of the cathedral in the heart of Medugorje, it provided easy access to all the significant attractions, including St. James Church and Apparition Hill. Additionally, the apartment was within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and other amenities. Accommodation: The apartment itself was tastefully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. It was clear that Josip took great care in maintaining the property to the highest standards. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the living area was appealing, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploration. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our meals when we desired. The restaurant in the same building is a huge plus. Hospitality: What truly set this apartment apart was Josip's exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. Josip was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. One outstanding instance of their kindness was when they took one of our family members to a nearby hospital at no charge. This act of generosity was a testament to Josip's genuine concern for their guests' well-being. Throughout our stay, they were always available to offer advice, recommendations, and assistance, making us feel like cherished friends rather than mere guests.

I highly recommend Villa Ruža. My experience there was great and I look forward to returning. The owner, Dario is so generous and hospitable. The rest of the staff is really nice as well. The room was nice, comfortable and really clean. It had an air conditioner that worked well and drapes and window shutters that blocked out the light nicely. The property is a few minutes drive from the main church and is quiet and peaceful. It's about a 5 minute walk to the base of Apparition Hill. Breakfast was great as well. I recommend contacting the hotel directly to make a reservation. Thank you, Dario!

Host was very nice, friendly and exceptionally warm. Host asked us several times if we need anything, so that was very nice. Would like to recommend this apartment for future guests definitely.

Apartment is located straight across from the the parish church of St. James in Medjugorje. It's got two rooms, cosy living room and kitchen/dining area. Nice balcony is overlooking the center of Medjugorje. Venue was super clean with plenty of linen/towels. There is also an elevator in the building, which is great for the people who have little kids or for the people with walking difficulties. Leo was a great host, I definitely want to come back to this place.
