Generous space and very comfortably furnished. The chairs, sofa and beds were very comfortable. The open courtyard in back was lovely when we visited. It is amazing that so close to the center of it all the place was still and quiet at night. Bathroom was exceptional with a powder room and a full bath. Great for relaxing. The host met us and was very kind.

We really liked the house. Everywhere was clean. Previous reviews had written about dampness in the house, but I didn’t feel it, although autumn is sensitive to such things. This cute little apartment is in a great location in the centre of Bastogne. It is a very clean apartment with a good little kitchen (no oven, but a stove, microwave, fridge with a small freezer and dishwasher). There are very steep stairs to get up to the apartment. The apartment is over two levels, with the living room with kitchen and bathroom on the first level and then the bedroom up one level further. The bedroom is just one room under the roof, with a kind of partition to divide the bunk area from the main bedroom. Overall, this was a very convenient and well equipped place for a stay and it was especially convenient to be able to cook our own dinner.
