The owners and staff were so friendly, going out of their way to help and making everything easy from our laundry, booking the mines tour and letting me work there all day after check out. The breakfast was nice, room and bathroom exceptionally clean and the communal courtyard really pretty.

For me the hotel Santa Teresa in Potosi was just perfect. I had a nice and quiet room, spacious but not too big, with a good hot shower. Important: the heating was on because in Potosi even in summer it is cold (the hotel lies at almost 4000 m of altitude). From my room I had a nice view on the Cerro rico. The breakfast in a very nice room was also excellent. Wi-Fi also very good. I had a rental car so for me it was important to have a private parking. The hotel is very close to the city centre.

This hotel was a more-than-welcome stay after roughing the tours in the south of Bolivia (and seeing the salt flats). The facility truly has all the amenities one could desire, and a reception that strives to please. The breakfast was varied, and the room was wonderful and quiet for working. The proximity to the center is also fantastic; you can walk to the mint or to any business and restaurant in the center with no issues, and spend as much time out as you want to on your own two feet.
