Miguel the host was wonderful! He picked me up at the airport and everything was very clear. He made me feel very much at home and I loved meeting his adorable dogs. It was perfect for a quick overnight and to take a hot shower before leaving the next day for puerto viejo.

We stayed for one night before heading off early in the morning to La Fortuna. The apartment was everything we needed and it was easy to check-in and settle down (always good after a 13 hour flight!). Just to note that while very close to the airport you will need a pick-up as there is a highway inbetween. Not walkable.

The shuttle is very punctual, no need to worry about that. We stayed at the apartment upstairs, it had great views in each direction, and a nice balcony to chill on, very spacious with 3 bedrooms. The airport is about 10-15 minutes away, very convenient to stay here coming in and out of San Jose.

Shuttle bus drivers were very professional and friendly. Beautiful house with secure fencing to feel safe. Considering the price difference to an airport hotel, this is an awesome option.

She went out of her way to accommodate me by acting as my food delivery agent. My Spanish is very basic. So this was especially helpful due to the language barrier.
