The 1-bedroom apartment features a living room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 1 bathroom with a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are available in the apartment. Additional in-room amenities include chocolates or cookies.

We stayed 2 nights and appreciated the comfortable bed, sofa, and the well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We had a fan with us which helped me as I slept on the sofa, which was comfortable. The street is too noisy with cars to leave the window open at night. The building itself was quiet, just some footsteps overhead once in awhile. The host provided coffee and filters, sugar, milk, tea, beer, napkins and many other thoughtful touches. Thank you so much! Her English is also excellent which meant we could have a nice conversation. We would stay again if we ever return to Aachen.

Guests at the apartment can enjoy hiking and cycling nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace.

Nice apartment in a quiet residential part of the city. Close to a Lidl and REWE for picking up supplies and about a 10-15 minute walk into the city centre. The apartment is situated on the first floor with one flight of stairs and is well equipped for a short or extended stay. The parking is street parking free form lunchtime on a Saturday until Monday morning and then it is free from 1900 until 0900 daily. It is then 1.5 Euro an hour or 15 euro a day. We managed to find a place next to the accommodation but visited in a quiet period. There is a small courtyard at the back of the property which would be nice in summer but on an old day in February we gave it a miss. Met the owner on the last day who was very polite and friendly. We would highly recommend the property and will try and book on our next visit.

Gut Kalkhäuschen was everything that we wanted for our stay in Aachen. The apartment was charming, cozy, and roomy with everything a person needs to feel at home. The beds were comfortable, the living room gemütlich, bathroom and kitchen were well organized with all amenities and everything was exceptionally clean. The garden is magical. After having a lovely evening with the family we understood that this business is truly an extension of their kind and welcoming natures. You will feel welcomed here.

    The breakfast in Das Loft café was excellent, the food was of high quality and very nicely presented and served. The underground car park is a boon if arriving by car as there are no nearby publicly available car parks which are open 24 hours a day. Being able to move luggage from the car to the apartment indoors is invaluable. Plenty of electricity sockets in the apartment and lots of light from the big windows. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.

    Excellent modern apartment with good facilities and a nice balcony.It is close to the main station,supermarkets and restaurants.The cathedral is about 20 minutes walk away. The host,Chris,was very helpful and made check in easy. Highly recommended place to stay.

    Perfect pick for our family of four to visit Aachen for a day/night. The host was accessibles and welcoming, meeting us at the location. The studio apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Particularly recommended for families with small children as the terrace faces a sandbox/little park that kept our six year old happily occupied.

    Our studio apartment was clean and well equipped for a short stay. Das Loft Apartments is right next to the pedestrian area with all sorts of shops, bars, restaurants, two shopping malls and close to Aachen cathedral. The self check-in instructions were easy to follow. Parking is onsite (at extra charge) and very convenient. The lady at the reception was very helpful and assisted promptly to change our parking spot, which was too small for our car.
