Any questions that I had the host communicated right away. He sent photos on where to park and provided any information I asked for in things to do during our stay.

There is a mall nearby which opens at 8 am and has a good bakery, meat counter etc. The flat is near the old town and close to the bus station. There is also a supermarket nearby, which we found by asking around. No information provided by host. The main reason we were there was to go to the Festspiele (Wagner's opera house) - it is a 25 minute walk away, which we didn't mind, though it could be an issue in evening clothes and shoes.
