The house is big and spacious for hosting lots of people. The TV is very big and the couches are nice for watching movies etc. The dining room table is very big and the chairs are super comfortable. There is plenty of good lighting throughout the house and mostly good quality furniture. The best part is that you are very close to the water and to the Swiss border. Stein am Rhein is a beautiful medieval town withing walking distance.

Many thanks to Mr. Alexander and his wife for hot welcoming and easy check in and check out. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to relax, and enjoy the view of the lake.

We were 4 - 2 adults and 6y and 2y kids. The location is excellent. By car it's 5 min to the beach, 4 min to Lidl and 40 min to Konstanz. There is a couple of hiking routes just around the house. The host is very responsive and helpful, quick to message back and provided with all the utilities needed. Everything in the apartment was superclean and of high quality. We loved the bathtub in the bathroom. There was a wonderful playground and a table-tennis table near the house for use. My wife as a coffee fan was happy to find a capsule coffee-machine in the kitchen which she used every morning.

There seem to be few Americans who visit Lake Constance but our host helped us navigate a number of things and he also spoke good English. We loved the patio on warm evenings. The apartment is very modern and clean in its design. We enjoyed cooking most evenings. A car is definitely required here but it is easy to do day trips, especially into Switzerland or over to the lake.
