The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is in a very quiet, wooded, private area. There is a jacuzzi on the patio that was very enjoyable to use. I was traveling and having difficulty with my international phone connection so I wasn't able to communicate easily on the day of arrival but managed to connect with them to coordinate getting the key. The location is about 10 minutes from Billund. The taxi ride was about $40 USD which is a lot for a short ride so if you are planning a trip nearby and do not have a rental car, then don't plan for many trips back and forth to the apartment. Since I didn't have a car and didn't have a chance to get food beforehand, I ordered delivery and there was only one restaurant that was delivering late at night (Mama's pizza). It was good! But I for sure would have planned to bring more since it is not located near any restaurants or businesses.

The location of the property was very nice, the room, and as well as the areas where guests can stay and enjoy their drinks or food (especially the living-room-like area inside the house. Additionally, the host was really nice, welcoming, and accommodating which made it easier for us especially when we have questions. Lastly, the cat was super cute which made our stay very memorable.

Jens and Dorthe are excellent hosts. They were always very helpful. Appartment was nice. We used bikes for moving around and evrything was reachable in 10-15 mins.

Very highly recommended. Notice that it takes ~15-20 minutes to cycle to the town (mostly flat). I would avoid coming back after dark on a bicycle though, the final part of the road can be q bit dangerous. My kids loved feeding the ponies & playing with the tramboline every morning!
