This was one of the most beautifully converted apartments we have ever stayed in. Stylish, beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It is right in the centre of Besalu and is literally in the middle of all amenities and attractions. We loved the entrance hall (and the lift) and absolutely loved the balcony overlooking the square. A fabulous place to stay in Besalu.

Great location, good communication, appreciated the laundry machine, kitchen had everything we needed, enjoyed wandering town before and after the tour groups and the wifi was good.

Ireland
The apartment is in a narrow side street between the two main squares in Besalu so really handy for coming and going. Everywhere was only minutes away. The apartment was not fancy, but it was comfortable. The beds were great. We had a balcony window in the kitchen/living and in the bedroom and there was lots of storage and some basic supplies. The owner's mother and daughter met us with the key, and gave us a warm welcome. We arrived during the annual Medieval festival weekend so there was loads going on and a great buzz around the village. The history of Besalu is in every stone building, every wall, every street - it's a beautiful place and full of tourists who arrive every day for a stroll around and some history and heritage. There are lots of restaurants and cafes, though places close early and on the last night of the festival, everywhere was closed by 11.30pm. Besalu is really beautiful and well worth a visit - down by the river was the perfect spot to avoid the crowds on the street during the festival weekend, and enjoy a paddle or swim to cool down...

They helped me with many things, including marital and parental advice which was an added bonus. The apartment is spotless and twenty meters from the main square in Besalu. I stayed for six nights and was sad to leave. I definitely plan to stay her next time.
