Our stay at Bilbao Azkuna exceeded all our expectations. We were met by Luis's daughter on arrival. Keys were handed over with an explanation about the facilities etc. The previous day we had received a booklet about the local restaurants and hints about things to do which was really useful. Based on the host's recommendation we had also made a dinner reservation. The appartment was fully furnished and very well equipped. You name it....It was there. Dishwasher, washing machine and and other well appointed appliances. Two full toilets,excellent showers. Spacious. Easy parking and an elevator too. Wonderful location. Luis was a host par excellence. We had a problem with some tolls and it was handled by him. Thanks a ton. Bilbao is a great city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the excellent Basque food!

All in all, thoroughly recommended.

Inside apartment you will find everything for your short stay needs. Downstairs around corner there is Cafe for your morning coffee and just a little bit further convenience shop should you plan having some meals or coffee in the apartment. Also just beside apartment there is small pizzeria serving really tasty pizzas for take away.

Since hotels in Bilbao are slightly expensive, this flat is really a good deal:) And it’s only 2 minute walk from the Santutxu station’s entrance and the apartment is equipped with an elevator, so the access is easy even for family with small children and strollers. You can easily reach Casco Viejo and Plaza Nueva by walk. Owners, Alfonso and Menchi, are really kind. They answered everything anytime.JunnosukeFamily with young children
