This is such a lovely place. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped, the kitchen is great, and has a dishwasher, we enjoyed the toaster and contact grill. Michelle was a great and host, she also gave us a lot of tips during the week and we are very grateful for the little attentions we received from her. Easy parking in front of or at the apartment. The village of Zavalatica is well located, for trips around the island, it is close to everywhere. The town of Korcula is 30 minutes away. Down in the center of the village, there is a shop, also 3 restaurants are close by. The apartment has several outdoor seating areas, our favorite had beautifully comfortable chairs and a spacious table. Also, the sea was partially visible from here. For swimming, there is a great beach Zitna with crystal clear water and fine sand in the water. The beach is about a 7-minute walk, down a path from the cliff, access is slightly more difficult. On the other side of the village, there are paved areas with steps into the water, which we loved for a quick dip.

Really great apartment, probably the nicest one in Zavalatica. Has two bedrooms, renovated bathroom, living room and kitchen. And the best thing - beatiful terrace overlooking the harbor in Zavalatica. You can use the small stone beach just over the road (literally 5 meters from apartment, or take the long walk (or a couple of minutes drive) to the Zitna beach which is really spectacular - maybe one of the nicest beaches in Korcula. Summary - if you like peaceful and romantic vacation - you have found the perfect spot. Hosts are friendly and comunicative.

Very nice, fully equipped and spacious apartment with amazing balcony overlooking a bay and a small port. A host lady was very nice, hospitable and helpful. Location close to the Zitna beach - around 6-7 mins walking, other nice beaches can be reached within 5-10 mins by car. Zavalatica is very nice and calm town, with everthing that is needed - there's a grocery, restaurant and bar with great pizza. It's a good place if you plan to travel around Korcula island (30 mins to Korcula city and 30 mins to Vela Luka by car).

The view from the balcony is truly spectacular. The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The nearest bus stop is 3 km away in Cara, so it's possible to manage without a car. Bus tickets can be ordered in advance online, about 4€ to go to Korcula old town for example. The nearest beach Zitna was also beautiful, good for snorkelling and we saw a lot of different fish there. We would definitely recommend staying here if you come to Korcula!

The next day Milan brought us some of his grapes and figs, which were great. He invited us to a street party organized in Zavalatica, where we have lovely Dalmatian music, complimentary wine, and fish. The furniture and appliances in the apartment were great.
