Absolutely everything!!!! Being at Oberortlhof felt like being high above the worries of every day life. The air is so clean and it is quiet. It felt like a different, more peaceful world. The flat was beautifully and tastefully decorated and supplied with everything you could need. It was spotlessly clean. Anna our host, couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. We did several walks: up to Castle Juval and the museum, into the Senales Valley and down to Unterortlhof for a wine tour. It was also a great location to explore the whole valley further. While we had a car, it would have been easily possible to see a lot on public transport.

The place is very clean, modern, kitchen fully equipped, and the garden is AMAZING. All the facilities backyard were available for us to use. Heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, full bar (for a minimal cost). The hosts, Hannes and his father were very hospitable and helped whenever we needed. It was so nice that we ended up spending a whole day at the apt. Enjoying the pool and yard with some friends. It was definitely worth the rest!

Christian, Sara and their children were extremely kind and welcoming. At arrival, Sara had separated all the brochures by category and provided our family of 6 with free bus passes for the week, mask they get on the bus, homemade apple juice and a ton of information. You felt at home and extremely excited about your stay at the farm, within seconds. Every day, she would refill a basket with complementary fresh apples for everyone in the building. The kids were extremely well-behaved, fun to be around and very quiet. The house was very clean and the view from the balcony of the orchard and the surrounding mountains was beautiful. The house is well located to access many different hikes. The choice is pretty much unlimited. The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are definitely worth a visit. We are not passionate about plants and flowers, except the ones you can eat, and this garden is undoubtedly the nicest one we have seen in the world. We wished that we would have known that as we would have brought a picnic and spent more time there. Also Seceda was absolutely gorgeous and is just over an hour away. 2 minute walk from the house, you can visit a winery for free. The visit can be done in German and Italian and if you only speak English, Christian accompanied us to translate what Leo was explaining. In short, we absolutely loved the house and the Pixner family who were the nicest host you can wish for. We are looking forward to come back.
