We do not have words to describe the experience of this gorgeous place. The apartment is situated on a big hill (very good and wide street to do the drive up without any anxiety) with an insanely gorgeous view over the sea, the mountains and mount Etna. The village is very well taken care off, very cute and has restaurants and grocery stores. The house has anything you can ask for during a vacation including a super comfortable bed, very well-equipped kitchen, tidy bathroom and a little porch outside, even a washing machine. We arrived with breakfast articles ready for us and some stuff in the fridge. The view is breath-taking. Parking available just outside the house. And yes, there is a street but hardly any cars passing so we do not understand the other reviews criticizing that. Everything was spotless clean. Alessandra helped with organizing a trip to mount Etna and has been helpful as much as she can. Absolutely nothing else to ask for! The house is located about 1h north of Catania city in an absolutely stunning neighborhood.

Alex, our host, met us and showed us in. He was extremely nice and welcoming and showed us every little thing around the apartment and even the private stairs to the beach. The apartment was A-m-a-z-i-n-g! The living room and the kitchen were super equipped so we immediately felt at home. We cooked everyday with goods we had bought in the supermarket. Alex has even purchased wonderful local pastries! The rooms and showers were speckless and convenient. The views to the sea were so wonderful and amazing! Alex was available for us 24x7 and gave us the best recommendatiins both for restaurants in Taormina and for day trips in the area, including the trip to mount Etna.
