Everything was just great! Instead of spending 4 nights there we extended to 9! Hosts was super helpful with all the tips what to see around, wherr to eat and etc. The apartment was very spacious, nicely decorated, Kitchen fully equiped. Everything about Neverland was great! The facilities were top notch and the staff, Paola, Syria, and Chef Daniel were AMAZING! We were made to truly feel at home and they assisted with anything we needed. The pool is wonderful, we lost track of time playing in it. It is so easy to spend a whole day there. We miss it so much. Tembo was in the beautiful setting of Fortamu resort/complex, right on the beach. The grounds & the two pools were exceptionally maintained. The accommodation itself was spacious, beautifully decorated & well equipped. It had easy access into Watamu town for cafes, shops & restaurants. Ziro, the housekeeper, who was really lovely, was on hand for anything we needed from shopping to calling a taxi - he also had a hot meal waiting for us when we arrived. Isabella, the owner was always prompt in answering any questions we had. We absolutely loved Tembo & hope to return one day.

Watamu Shell House is a real gem. We stayed there over an extended weekend and our kids (4 & 6) loved the place. The accommodation is superb, and the chef and the house-help were simply fabulous. They cooked some of the most delicious Italian meals, which we really enjoyed. Helga the host is very accommodating and tried her best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The beach is just 50 meters from the apartment and the two private pools are stunning. The property has small private beach, which was ideal for our kids as they played for hours in the sand. The apartment is 4-5 km away from the centre and can be accessed by Tuk-Tuk at a reasonable price (ksh 500/trip). It is a great place for young family and couples who want to have a quiet, relaxed holiday.
