The location was wonderful and we could walk down to the swimming beach, although a little walk up the hill on the way home. Lots to do nearby. The view was stunning, could even see the sunrise and sunset through the trees. The rooms were large and well appointed with very comfortable beds. We appreciated being able to use the washing machine. The kitchen meant we were able to cook several meals here. We would definitely return!

Perfect location, on the edge of the Burnt Pine strip. All the inclusions including: airport transfer, 1/2 day orientation tour, car for our use, mobile phone, wifi which worked, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms in a 2 bedroom unit. Kerri-Ann and Steve are delightful hosts and greeted us with a home-made coconut cake. A homely atmosphere, perfect for those wanting to self-cater and not looking for the full resort type experience.

Juliet was waiting and smiling at the airport on arrival and gave us a quick orientation tour of Burnt Pine and our cottage. Complimentary 3 hour tour of Norfolk Island the next morning also a grest introduction to our week. A hire car we had booked was waiting for us when we arrived - again a thoughtful gesture. Apartment had everything you could possibly want and we spent our evenings out on tbe deck taking in the views and sunset. We used the picnic basket and thermos to take lunch with us when we explored the National Park..The Lodge is very close to Emily Bay and we swam/snorkled every day. Staff snd owners all super friendly and cottage was immaculately clean with comfy beds. Thanks for making our NorfolkNothinh Island holiday such a special experience

There was much to like about our Cascade Garden Apartment. It was clean, peaceful, lovely gardens, nice view and a constant sea breeze through the apartment. Owner Ash met us up at the airport and we followed him to the apartment in our rental car. Ash gave us a housekeeping brief then left us to enjoy our stay in Norfolk Island. Co-owner Marie was very accommodating in letting us checkout an hour late. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a partly self-catering stay. If visiting Norfolk Island, don't miss Emily Bay for swimming and Slaughter Bay (adjacent to Emily Bay) for great snorkelling.

A very nice stay. Hosts were excellent. Very friendly, informative, relaxed but professional. The chalet was exactly what we had requested. To find somewhere quite private, 2 bedrooms with self-catering was a bonus. There aren't too many places that fit that criteria on the Island. Slightly out of town, but that's still very close on Norfolk. Norfolk is very different. Very nice. We can see why so many people get drawn there. 9 days was just enough. Very clean and well equipped.
