New apartment, new buildong, well located relative to the University of Aveiro, where I presented at a conference. The building is one of many around anpark. There's a bakery and a supermarket behind the building, and a nice pizza and sandwich place a block from it. Also, it's close to the center of Aveiro. The host, Viriginia was friendly and explained thoroghly everything about thr apartment. She went above and beyond to make my stay great. For instance, she lent me a plug adaptor at thr last minute because Inforgot to bring one to my trip to Europe from thr States.

It was so clean and well stocked. Everything was well appointed and beds were so comfortable. We were in close walking distance to everything right in the center of town, but very secure and we felt very safe. The historic building was so charming and the black out shudders worked great if you needed privacy or to just sleep in. It was very peaceful considering the location and breakfast provided by the Pastelaria was plentiful and so delicious. Everyone was so kind and welcoming even though we zero Portuguese skills.
