We like the location of the house. It is situated little uphill by the road. The parking is very close by along the road. The house is small but it had everything for our stay - the well equipped kitchen, dining table and sitting area.It is nicely furnished and very clean. The bed is comfortable. It was what I expected for the price of the lodging when I booked it (about 25 euros a night). The location was excellent, although Castelo de Vide is small enough that it's a non-factor. It was easy to check in and out, though check-in was not so straightforward. The coffee machine was a nice touch and the owner thankfully had some nice extra warm blankets that were essential since it was rather cold when I stayed. The owner was very communicative and was accomodating when I needed to change the dates for which I was staying last minute.
