Make sure to stay for the braai where you spend an evening with Andy and the other guests - it’s an experience like no other. We will definitely come back!

The property is well situated, clean, comfortable. The real difference here are the hosts which are very helpful, available, and already prepared suggestions for excursions and dinner. We didn't do all of the suggested, but it gave us a really good indication on what to do. We had a great stay, thank you.

This wonderful apartment is in a residential area, rather far from the city (a short drive, but not within walking distance). The host lives downstairs, so our worries about meeting her to get the keys were unsubstantiated. We were arriving from the Garden Route and our arrival time was uncertain because of extensive road work-caused delays. Upon arrival, the gracious host gave us an orientation of the place, which has a compact kitchen, with all we needed. The area is very quiet and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The host gave us very useful recommendations about what to do locally and even made a restaurant reservation for us (at a place she recommended, and that we really enjoyed). From the apartment, it is a short walk to the nearest beach, and we felt safe enough to make that our evening (actually, even late night) walk. We never got to visit the beach during the day, but at night time it looked very peaceful. There are many upscale homes and condos on the way and along the beach, as well as a nice walkway on wooden decking also along the beach. One nice perk at the apartment is that they have solar panels and a backup that keeps everything working through the load-shedding episodes. There is a small pool at the property, but we did not use it (nor did we inquire if it was open to the guests). They have a dog and a cat -- the dog away from the guest areas, but the cat inquisitive and willing to visit us. There is a very nice dining area outside the door, which we did not have the time to use, but where breakfast or dinner would be very enjoyable. The Robberg Reserve is very near the property, and we very much enjoyed a day of hiking there. There is much more to do, as we found out, so we will need to return to explore this area. We would love to stay again at this property.

The recommendations for where to eat and what to do were spot on. We really enjoyed our dinner at the Fat Fish, about a 5 minute drive away. The apartment is located on the second floor and has two bedrooms with separate facilities. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for cooking at home. Location is good, on a hilltop and not far from the city center.
