After a long and tiring train journey--we were standing in the doorway staring, gobsmacked when a group of other guests came by. This jolly group asked to see our room--we obliged and later they showed us theirs which turned out to be even more amazing than the Suite Royale. We were all astounded at the remarkable rooms. While gilding is not exactly our style-- we had to appreciate the amazing detail with which the room was renovated. Even the window hardware had been restored. There were too many fine details to count. Among the amenities was a retro mini refrigerator, jetted tub, small couch and sitting area, one of the most comfortable beds we'd stayed in this trip, and a ceiling mural. We wished we'd booked another night or two for exploring Narbonne, or just chilling in this wonderful room. Anyway never in our wildest dreams did we think we could find a hotel room in this price range with so much class. It was one of the highlights of our Europe trip. The nearest airport is Marseille Provence Airport, 43 km from the apartment. communications were very good. excellent assistance in getting to property & getting parked as, on the day we arrived, there was a triathlon going on. The apartment was right by the beach. Many restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance of the old town & harbour. Underground locked car park.

Towels and bed linen are featured. The caretaker was extremely helpful and loaned me his bike for the day after mine was damaged in transit in the train. The appartment ist very well appointed & the showers hot and the location very quiet.

The host is very helpful and accommodating. She sent us useful local addresses to make your stay memorable. Communication is fast and easy. Small gifts, and attention to details made our stay really enjoyable (best stay we had in Collioure, by far!!). The apartment is also beautifully renovated and in a very handy location, in between the 2 most lively areas of Collioure.
