Nestled on a working farm, the isolation provides a serene escape—I even had a friendly sheep greet me at the door each morning, with no other humans in sight. The modern apartment boasts charming Scottish decor, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a coffee machine and plenty of pods, was a lifesaver, especially since the nearest supermarket is a 20-minute drive away. Planning ahead for meals is advisable due to limited dining options in the vicinity. One of the highlights for me was the convenience of on-site washing and drying facilities. After a week of driving around, being able to freshen up my clothes was a welcome amenity. Communication with the host was seamless, with prompt responses to all my queries. Overall, this Airbnb provided a tranquil and cozy base for exploring the breathtaking Isle of Skye. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat with modern comforts.

The property has an outdoor dining area. Have never stayed in a more thoughtfully done up place - whether it’s the aesthetics or the facilities provided. The space screams Skye in the subtlest of ways, whether it’s the local art adorning the walls or the smidge bug spray quietly placed in the cupboards - the attention to detail is better than any hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is excellent too and not very far from the Skye highlights of Storr and Quiraing. The town too, is a stones throw from the property. What’s more - we got a single malt welcome and even had cake, bread, cereal and milk available fresh for us. We arrived late at night and the hosts were super kind to make themselves available in the rain to let us in. They had provided for booklets on Skye and even placed board games in the side board. They even happily brought along their dog the next morning when i requested to meet them. What a stay!! Made it the most memorable time at Skye! Can’t wait to be back

For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Ruridh went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He helped us out so much! The pod is lovely decorated and feels like home. The views are out of this world. You can see the mainland from the pod. The shower is luxorious for it's size and the little touches througout the pod. The wool curtains and the sheepskin rugs. Just perfect.

We have everything we need. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine is useful. The places are walking distance to the town center and the main attractions are not far by driving. The only thing we are not in control of is the weather...it has been raining daily.
