This little house is just that, everything is there, but small. The way it is organized, however makes it very comfortable for a base of visiting the town. You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.

Amazing, I just fell in love with this place. Very good breakfast with such incredible view. When we were there the temperature was above 40 degrees, so to order room with pool was a great idea. The area around is very beautiful and calm. There are few cities not far away, wine testing you can find almost everywhere. We spent in Portugal 2 weeks, but this place was the best, I highly recommend it to everyone.

Casa da Zefinha is a lovely little house and our 2 bedroom flat was beautifully furnished, extremely clean and very comfortable. Isabel and her husband met us on arrival and were very friendly and welcoming. The house is located on a hill looking onto the town and has wonderful views but is also within a few minutes' walk from the centre of town.

I can't say enough good things about my hosts and the apartment. The hosts were so kind, thoughtful and generous. The view of vineyards and the Douro River was unbeatable. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a vase of fresh flowers, a decanter of port, and a sweet bread, along with apples from their orchards. They also gave me cookies on another day and on my last night, knocked on my door and gave me grapes from their orchards also and persimmons. The studio apartment was spacious, the bathroom was large, there was everything I needed to prepare meals in the kitchen. It was spotlessly clean and very quiet. Free parking on the street. And the price was very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

The location was incredible. Right in the heart of the city by the Castle. The host was very accommodating and helpful. The room was spotless and beautifully done.
