With this ticket, you will have the opportunity to visit this World War I museum that overlooks the exact point from which more than 41,000 people left Australia to take part in this war.
This interactive museum will take you on a journey through the history of these service people, from their recruitment to their intervention on the battlefield and the return home of the survivors. With personal stories, historical artefacts and multimedia technology, you will learn about the Great War and its impact on the country.
After your visit to the centre, you will be able to explore the bunkers and fortifications of one of Australia's oldest coastal military sites, Princess Royal Fortress, and immerse yourself in the surrounding nature reserve, with historical sites, hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as shops and restaurants.
