On this private tour, you’ll have the chance to explore two of the region’s most important cultural landmarks with an expert guide.
After pickup from your hotel, you’ll begin your tour with a visit to the Hanging Temple. After driving to the temple, you’ll have around 1.5 hours to explore the sights of the 5th-century monastery, built into the side of a cliff face.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you’ll complete your experience with a visit to the Yungang Grottoes. Here, you can explore the carvings, sculptures and architecture of the cave temples, including the Five Caves of Tan Yao and several large Buddha statues.
