On this full-day tour, you’ll pay a visit to Shaxi Ancient Town and spend time exploring its history and culture with a professional guide.
After pickup from your hotel, you’ll take a two-hour drive directly to Shaxi Ancient Town, passing scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll take a walking tour of the town, starting at Sifang Street, the site of a Friday fair where mountain villagers visit Shaxi to trade. You’ll also visit Xingjiao Temple, where you can examine well-preserved murals from the Ming dynasty.
After viewing the Qing dynasty-era opera stage, you’ll stop off at Yujin Bridge before having the opportunity to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
