On this small-group guided tour, you’ll start from Quito and head to the Cotopaxi National Park region for a full day of exploration. Inside the National Park, you’ll see the Cotopaxi volcano, which is an active volcano located in the Cordillera de Los Andes, and have time to explore the lush variety of flora and fauna.
You’ll then head to the Limpiopungo Lagoon on the slopes of the volcano, where you can experience the lagoon landscape and click pictures against the backdrop of the volcano. Next, you’ll visit the Mariscal Sucre Interpretation Center to get more insights into the National Park and its surroundings. Finally, you’ll head to José Rivas Refuge, where you’ll have time to trek and experience the scenic surrounding before heading back to Quito.
