Wolfdog Experience at Susimaa

A chance to meet the wolfdogs and go on a hike with them

On this tour, you will get to spend a day at Susimaa, the only wolfdog farm in the North open to public.

You will first meet the wolfdogs in their enclosures, after which you can go on a hike with them. During the 1.5-hour hike with the wolfdogs, you will walk cross country through swamp land and more. After the tour, you will have a cup of tea and coffee along with grilled sausages over the bonfire while learning about the history of wolfdogs.

Additional information

Please note that hiking belts are available all-year round and snowshoes are available in winter.

The minimum age for entering the enclosures is 15 years.

Children aged 0–15 must be accompanied outside the enclosure.

For your safety, please note that wearing mouth or nose masks is not permitted as animals read mimic and gestures and an unpredicted behavior may occur.
