On this private tour, you'll visit some of the most significant sites associated with the D-Day landings in Normandy with a knowledgeable guide. You'll visit Pointe du Hoc and hear how US troops scaled the cliff on 6 June and you'll see Omaha Beach, where you'll learn how 2,400 American soldiers lost their lives here on D-Day.
After a break for lunch, you'll go to the Normandy American Cemetery, where you'll have time to visit the graves and memorial and go to the Interpretive Centre to learn more about the military operation. Your tour will continue to Arromanches and you'll finish at the Mémorial de Caen. As this tour is private, you'll be able to customise the itinerary to suit you.
